This early 20th century home on the historic East Side of Milwaukee needed a garden update. LANDCO2 blended drifts of perennials, grasses and shrubs with some of the homeowner’s existing plants and hardscape areas to create a unique blend of old and new. Curved planting beds contrast and frame the rectangular lines of the home and a variety of color and texture provide seasonal interest throughout the year. The design goal was to augment the historic architectural detail while providing enjoyable places to entertain and enjoy nature both inside and out.
